Relevant qualification in business management or finance will be advantageous
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
Computer literacy
Private healthcare experience within a pharmacy or hospital environment
Knowledge and experience of a pharmaceutical stock control system, preferably SAP
Have good numeracy, literacy and communications skillsThe Senior Pharmacy Clerk will be responsible for ensuring accurate maintenance of the local Pharmacy Stock Master, accurate Goods Receipting and maintenance of accurate pharmacy records as per GPP requirements.
In addition, assist the Pharmacy Manager with stock reports, analysis of the data and actions to improve on any identified gaps.
Act as a link between Pharmacy and Finance
Accurately maintain the local stock master evaluate reports and assist with corrections
Accurately receipt all pharmaceutical stock onto the system
Preparer stock receipting listing and schedules for Group Procurement department and Central Pharmacy Accounts Administration as per scheduled timeframes
Ensure that negotiated price file is checked against all receipts
Assist with the recon of the supplier statement against the internal payment schedule
Raise queries, track these until close off and escalate when possible
Follow up on back orders and ordering of stock.
Prepare credits as per policy and track until close off, reporting weekly to the Pharmacy Manager
Assist the Pharmacy Manager with the preparation and investigations in terms of all stock related reports
Assist with all preparation for cycle and complete stock counts
