Our mission is to help our internal clients win new business and produce effective marketing communications with best in class creative.THE ROLEWe support numerous agencies within the network and are seeking a like-minded designer with 2+ years experience in a studio/agency environment to join our growing team of talented creatives (though also willing to consider exceptional graduate). The candidate must be able to produce outstanding visual design work across a number of different platforms and various disciplines - working across new business, marketing and client facing projects often to tight deadlines. In addition to this the candidate must be a confident forward thinker who is willing to initiate new and innovative creative responses as well as have a natural ability to present and discuss ideas in a group and at a senior level.RESPONSIBILITIESThe key role of the designer will be to provide creative support for dentsu Internationals operating companies, primarily in new business pitches and creation of internal/external marketing materials.Work on external client projects - a great chance to work across a broad spectrum of creative output from offline print design & digital to storyboarding for animation.Provide creative support for New Business Pitch presentations and documentationWork with client directors to create bespoke client presentations and provide design support to client teamsAssist in creating multi-media presentations, video production and photographyDesign and creation of mood boards and concept mock-upsROLE REQUIREMENTS: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesignAdvance knowledge of PowerPoint presentation designStrong visual design skills and an excellent portfolio demonstrating these skillsUnderstanding of branding, brand design and marketingEnthusiasm and passion for design in specific design for print such as marketing DM material, conference brochures and other corporate literaturePhotography skills desirableExperience working in pitch environment would be beneficialConfident presentation skills and ability to present ideas with clarityAnimation and drawing skills would be considered favourablyPremiere and After Effects skills beneficialMust be able to work flexible hours when required,Ability to juggle a number of tasks at once and consistently to deliver high-quality work to timescaleAbility to build and maintain strong working relationshipsBasic knowledge of the media industryLocation: Cape TownBrand: Global FunctionsTime Type: Full timeContract Type: Permanent
