Senior Process Controller
Uitenhage, Eastern Cape - Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa
Job Description
The successful candidate would be based in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape and responsible for supporting the management of the water treatment plant.
Qualifications
- Chemical Engineering or N4 Water/ Wastewater or any water related field.
- 3 to 4 years' relevant experience in the operations of Reverse Osmosis, MBR, DAF and Sludge Dewatering systems.
- Valid Driver's licence
- Experience in managing maintenance for a water treatment plant.
- Computer literate
- NOSA/ SAMTRAC Certificate.
- Mechanical understanding of water treatment plant equipment.
- Supporting the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the plant. This would encompass but not limited to client engagement, staff management, plant process performance, H&S compliance and overall management of operational maintenance, stock and chemical control.
- Applying knowledge of the Reverse Osmosis, MBR/UF, DAF and Sludge Dewatering to support the site operations.
- Work within the site shift structure when required.
