Senior Procurement and Bids Officer4-Year Contract PostThis position includes the following functions; internal and external stakeholder management; client needs assessment; compilation of specifications/terms of reference; requesting and verifying quotations from suppliers; assisting with or conducting bidding processes; preference goals calculations; maintaining supplier database; checking and monitoring compliance to legislation; organizational and national policies; regulations; framework and guidelines applicable to SCM; managing and administering bid process activities; assisting in developing strategic and operational plans on sourcing of goods and services; acting as a BBBEE verification processor; and any duties as directed by the manager or delegated officials.Key Responsibility Areas will include the following:
