A Day in the Life
As a Senior Product Manager for L'Oreal Luxe, you will be a key player in driving the success of our luxury beauty brands in the South African market. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead the development and execution of product strategies that resonate with our discerning consumers. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of luxury beauty, working with a passionate and diverse team.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
+ Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies aligned with the overall brand vision and business objectives.
+ Formulate forecasts aligned to the project strategies, retailer promotions, peak trading periods and developing trends.
+ Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
+ Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring seamless execution and optimal performance.
+ Build an A&P budget and track activities to ensure the brand profit delivery.
Product Development & Innovation:
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and differentiated products that meet consumer needs and preferences.
+ Conduct market research and testing to validate product concepts and optimize product formulations.
+ Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Marketing & Promotion:
+ Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, trial, and sales.
+ Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective product distribution and merchandising.
+ Manage the product budget and track key performance indicators to measure campaign effectiveness.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
+ Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including brand teams, sales teams, and external agencies.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of product strategies.
+ Communicate product performance and key initiatives to senior management.
We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager with a passion for luxury beauty and a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in product management, preferably within the luxury beauty industry.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data, consumer insights, forecasts and manage a brand P&L
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
A passion for luxury beauty and a deep understanding of consumer trends and preferences.
