SUMMARY:
Senior Product Owner - Johannesburg - R1mil to R1.2mil Per AnnumPOSITION INFO:A sustainable investment platform serving families, foundations, and institutional investors for more than 20 years has an open role for a Platform Product Owner (PPO) who will have end to end accountability for your Data/Analytics products, from strategy, delivery, service lifecycle and production operations.Responsibilities:

• Define product features and User stories.
• Ability to prioritise the product and Iteration backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team.
• Significant experience in quality control as the only team member empowered to accept stories as done.
• Responsible for the Program Backlog, to prepare for the Program Increment (PI) Planning meeting.
• Dissect high-level information into details and is able to communicate details in a manner understood by relevant audiences.
• Ability to drill down into the details of a delivery request without losing sight of the big picture.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new business domains and technical applications.
• Prepare agreed deliverables in line with standards, to meet agreed quality standards and timelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience with Data Management and Business Intelligence Tools - Microsoft stack advantageous
• At least 10 years proven data management and BI experience
• 5+ years

experience at senior level advantageous * 5 years data product management experience

• Software implementation best practices knowledge and experience
• Project Management - Microsoft Azure DevOps (Agile), MS Project Office, Kanban Boards
• Project reporting - MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel
• Should have good functional knowledge of Banking (Retail, Investment, Corporate and Commercial).
• Subject matter expertise in all areas of product management, including demand management, business management, stakeholder management, roadmap development, communications, and user experience.
