Requirements



Relevant post graduate degree (Masters degree

preferable), with a preference for the fields of statistics



and data science



At least five (5) years' relevant functional experience required Sound knowledge of statistical methods and quantitative data

analysis and modelling



Key Performance Areas



To provide high-level analytical skills and services on key

urban data and information relevant to strategy, policy and



planning to inform decision-making



To use statistical data and methods to support data

analysis and interpretation including trends and predictions,



while leveraging advanced data analytical techniques.



To facilitate and manage the collection of socio-economic

data through household surveys and other primary research



methods, data management and related processes ensuring



robust data governance frameworks to maintain accuracy and



quality.



To undertake data modelling processes to inform planning

and decision making, incorporating scenario planning and



risk analysis to support strategic foresight and resilience



efforts.



To provide urban development data analysis advice

and visualisation products for a range of City strategy,



policy and programmes, projects and processes.



To support data, statistics and analytics partnerships and

related programmes and projects, fostering collaboration



with stakeholders.



To monitor and evaluate global urban development trends,

tools, and innovations.
