Provide market valuations of immovable properties including rights in immovable properties, ie.residential, commercial, industrial, business, institutions, farms, open spaces, roads, etc.
Provide immovable property related advice and support to internal and external stakeholders to influence and guide valuation decisions for acquisitions, disposals and rentals
Implementing section and department communication strategy for efficient service delivery
Correspond and conduct negotiations and represent regarding acquisitions, disposal and rental valuations with stakeholders including analysis of Actual Financial Loss claims from expropriations or acquisitions.
Undertake professional functions, ie research and development in the valuation fields to facilitate continuous improvement to service delivery.

A relevant 3 year tertiary qualification: National Diploma in Real Estate/Property Valuation, BDegree in Property Studies, B Tech Degree in Real Estate/Property Valuation
At least 8 years relevant property valuations experience
Valid registration as a Professional Valuer or Professional Associated Valuer in terms of the Property Valuers Profession Act without restrictions.
A valid code B/EB drivers licence
Must be physically fit and able bodied for site inspections
