The GIBB multi-disciplinary team sector designs mechanical, electrical, and public health systems required for safe, comfortable, sustainable, and energy-efficient installation and operation of modern buildings.We're looking for another talented professional to complement our team, in the form of a Senior Project Architect.We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Project Architect to oversee the detail design development, technical documentation, and construction monitoring of a large mixed-use project.We welcome your application if you believe you meet the requirements for this position.Key Performance Areas

• The role will require the candidate to manage a team and co-ordinate their efforts in conjunction with their own inputs to the design development process and preparation of technical documentation.
• Interfacing with a full consultant team.
• Manage consultants, code compliance and production.
• Manage client project team relationships such as contractual obligations, project expectations, quality of service and overall communication amongst all parties.
• Meet with clients and stakeholders to discuss construction designs.
• Oversee the construction administration of a project/s.
• Acting as an intermediary between the client and the construction team.
• Visiting the site regularly to ensure construction adheres to applicable regulations.
• Creating progress and quality inspection reports.
• Identifying of risks and the management of risks.
• Conducting a final inspection after the project is complete.
• Travel may be a requirement with the ability to work independently as the company representative.

Job RequirementsQualification:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s or Masterxe2x80x99s degree in Design and Architecture.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the field, with at least 5 years of experience in a project leading role.
• Proven experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in technical and services coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Travel will be a requirement.Person RequirementsKnowledge of some or all:

• Minimum working knowledge of collaboration platforms BIM360 & ACC is a must
• A strong technical knowledge together with efficient management skills is essential.
• The position requires some knowledge of the FIDIC contract but full knowledge and experience of the JBCC forms of contract is required.

Abilities:

• To work independently as the company representative.
• Sensitivity to risk and the ability to manage risk with experience and knowledge are key to success in this role.
• To effectively collaborate with team members, external consultants and clients.
• To delegate, lead and manage work to and from junior team members.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
• Able to lead the preparation of designs and technical documentation with impeccable presentation, and capacity to guide and perform quality assurance inspections during construction.
• An ability to interface with a full consultant team in a foreign country will be necessary.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering high-quality design projects on time and within budget.

Skills:

• Advanced Autodesk Revit User.
• Proficient in other documentation and coordination software and tools, such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Navisworks, will be an advantage.
• Attention to detail is critical.
• Strong project management skills
