Job Title: Senior Project ControllerLocation:Botswana, JwanengJob Type:36 Month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry:MiningJob Duties:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Monitor project progress and performance to ensure adherence to timelines and budget
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project data
  • Analyse project data and present reports to senior management
  • Identify potential risks and issues impacting project delivery
  • Implement project control tools and techniques to optimise project performance
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Project Controller or in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project control within the mining industry
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles and techniques
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Masters degree in Project Management or related field
Working Conditions:The role of Senior Project Controller may require occasional travel to project sites and working extended hours to meet project deadlines.
