Role Purpose
This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic experienced individual to become a core part of the Momentum Institutional Investments Project team. The successful candidate needs to be comfortable to create the appropriate degree of process and formality with the work that they do. They must be willing to get involved in the detail and "get their hands dirty". They will be responsible for project management including a level of business and data analysis relating to internally and externally focused projects and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Experience and Qualifications
A relevant degree or diploma.
At least 5+ years' financial/business management experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience business analysis, data analysis and 5 years project management, preferably in the Financial or Asset Management industries.
Formal qualification/s in Project Management.
Formal membership of PMI or similar professional organisations advantage
Formal business analysis certification or qualifications will be an advantage.
Understanding of various Technical Terminologies used in SDLC.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Strong Microsoft office suite skills - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Working with Jira and other tools to enhance project details and visibility.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities and Work Outputs
Manage end to end project responsibilities, including post project implementation
Design business solutions and processes that integrate different departments within Momentum Investments in order to create efficiencies.
Understand the integrated business processes and dependencies and document the user journeys.
Facilitate discussions with business process owners about project deliverables and scope, develop full scale project plans, track project deliverables and create appropriate reporting outputs.
Manage the relationship with different stakeholders and ensure that misunderstandings, scope additions, or conflicts are effectively managed.
Develop, execute, and document test plans in order to verify the quality of deliverable(s)
Implement deliverables into a business line with minimum disruption and/or intervention of day-to-day business activities.
Perform quality control, review, analyse, and evaluate how project performance can be enhanced.
Generate and create reports; research and analyse data and report trends to management/ business partners.
Adhere to established governance structures and control requirements for projects and programmes.
Interact with project sponsor and senior management and streamline communication.
Project management of issue and risk identification and either mitigation or resolution thereof
Works independently setting own priorities and objectives with supervisory consultation.
Regularly makes recommendations to and influences department policies and procedures.
Actively contributes to the results of a team and works towards achieving team goals and objectives.
Prepare and present project status reporting, dashboards and Steerco updates.
