PURPOSE:The Project Manager is responsible for managing contracts in such a way to reduce the likelihood of receiving claims from contractors, ensures that contractors deliver based on baselined project schedules through the various project resources and shared resources. The incumbent oversees and manages the project deliverables and strategy in-line with program management objectives, and further oversees the project from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget, safely. The Project Manager reports to the Program Manager, coordinates, and manages the resources in his team both in the office and on site and interfaces with SPM, Engineering, Planning, Costing, Risk, and the Vendors through Procurement.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAudit Management
