• Lead and manage large-scale projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and strategic objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timeliness, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to project team members.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to apply innovative solutions to project management challenges.
• Be willing to travel beyond Johannesburg

The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate for the Senior Project Manager role must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing complex projects successfully.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Strong project management skills, with experience using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing project risks.
• Come from the IT sector and have knowledge and background around agriculture.
