Senior Project Manager Real Estate

Job Description
Our client in the Banking industry is urgently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the Real Estate Development and Project Management department on a 12-month contract to manage and deliver medium, large and more complex Real Estate Development and Capital Projects.Responsibilities include:
- Managing project lifecycle and obtaining stage gate review approvals
- Advising, reviewing and implementing procurement and contract documentation
- Cost and Change Management
- Managing Project Programme schedule and resource management
- Risk Management
- Governance and Assurance of Project Performance, Information Management & Document Control
- Managing the Project Commissioning, Handover and Close Out Process
- Managing professional consultants and contractors including Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineers, Wet Services Engineer and Landscape Architect, Construction Health and Safety officials as well as overseeing other Real Estate Project Managers Projects
- 10+ years experience in Project Management
- Deep knowledge of construction and build projects
- Experience in managing Commercial Construction Projects
- Broad to deep knowledge of Environmental regulations
- Experience working on high category and high complexity projects
- Relevant qualification in Built Environment
- Project Management qualification or certification would be an added advantage
The successful candidate will be required to travel on a regular basis to the various sites regionally.
Offices are based in central Johannesburg.
Preference will be given to candidates who are available immediately.
