Job Summary Job Purpose : The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. The Project Manager is also responsible for managing project teams and ensuring quality control throughout project life cycles. Key Responsibilities : Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Define project scope and deliverables that support business. goals in collaboration with executive management. Develop project plans and schedules. Able to read and understand floor plans, working drawings. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion. Communicate with customers on an ongoing basis. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and customers. Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Issue status reports to the project team. Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle. Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and subcontractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project. Conduct project meetings and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Ability to manage all contractors on sites. Understanding of OHS. Compiling customer quotes. Ensuring that contact pricing is competitive. Sign off projects, and completion of snags. Responsible for new business and the growth of the existing business. Essential Qualifications : Grade 12 Diploma in Project Management Knowledge Requirements : Shop fitting / Construction / Project management Key Skills Required : Problem-Solving Skills Analytical Skills Co-ordination Skills Negotiation Skills Decision-Making Skills Presentation Skills Project Management Skills Communication Skills Assertiveness Time Management Skills Team Player Minimum Work Experience : 3- 6 years experience. Hours of work : 07:30-16:30 (Monday to Thursday) 07:30 - 14:30 (Friday)- This may change based on the companys discretion.
