An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and professional Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, contract administration, and client interactions across a variety of commercial property projects.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee all aspects of cost planning, cost control, and cost reportingPrepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ)Interpret project specifications and analyze technical documentationLiaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and site managersProvide pre-contract services including feasibility studies, tender documentation, and contractual reportsOversee procurement methods and strategies, including tendering and contract administrationDeliver post-contract services such as valuations, change management, and extension of time claimsMaintain detailed and accurate project cost reportsSupport successful project delivery through effective stakeholder communication and coordinationRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Quantity SurveyingProfessional registration with SACQSP (PrQS) with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experienceProficient in WinQS, DimX, and BIM systemsStrong experience in the commercial property sectorIn-depth knowledge of both pre- and post-contract quantity surveying servicesExcellent understanding of procurement and forms of contractStrong client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships confidentlyExcellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skillsProven track record in similar rolesIf you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move,
