La Rochelle is a world-renowned site boasting the greatest concentration of hippo and crocodiles in South Africa:We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and organized individual to join our team as a Resort Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Greet guests warmly and provide them with information about the resort's facilities, services, and local attractions.xc2xb7 Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information and billing.xc2xb7 Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using our reservation system.xc2xb7 Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.xc2xb7 Process payments, including cash, credit card, and electronic transactions, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.xc2xb7 Assist guests with luggage, transportation arrangements, and other requests as needed.xc2xb7 Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.xc2xb7 Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including stocking brochures, maps, and other informational materials.Requirements:xc2xb7 Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.xc2xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.xc2xb7 Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.xc2xb7 Proficiency in using computer software, including reservation and billing systems.
