Currently, they're dedicated to enhancing the Australian real estate market and have ambitious plans to expand across the Asia Pacific region within the next two years. Renowned for providing an extensive repository of real estate information, our client empowers REITs, fund managers, investors, and developers to make well-informed decisions. They are now in search of an analytically inclined property professional with a minimum of two years' working experience to lead one of their four teams, with a headcount of 10 to 15 people, responsible for gathering real-time data.Based at their Cape Town office, you'll take charge of training research team leaders and call centre staff while continually enhancing the quantity and quality of collected data. Your core responsibilities will involve refining data capture methods, advancing research tools and processes, and identifying anomalies and trends crucial for data validation and agile market expansion.Given your current client base is AWST-time, your workday will commence and conclude earlier than the standard South African schedule, working hours 00:00 to 09:00. While you may not engage directly with landlords and tenants, your proximity to their conversations and outputs is essential for offering alternative questioning approaches to ensure the production of valid and marketable results. Furthermore, you'll be tasked with interpreting large-scale data for application across various product offerings.This role is ideal for individuals possessing:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in a professional management role within real estate analysis, market research, or a related field.
  • Ability to mentor, train and lead a team of 10 people
  • Master's proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • An understanding of software development capabilities.
  • Ability to comprehend, track, and clean metadata.
