Responsible for the successful delivery of high quality data and insights to FMCG clients
Managing a team of researchers who will ensure timeous, efficient, high quality and actionable insights of FMCG projects
Managing projects from commissioning through to final tabulations and/or reports/ presentations
Key Job Responsibilities:
Accountable for a team of Researchers determined either by area or product or sector or client
Supervises all stages of project management and monitors performance
Responsible for the training and development of team and peers
Provides advice and consultation to clients and staff
Handles complicated client queries or complaints
Ensure projects are profitable via efficient, timeous delivery of projects
Designs and plans research projects following client commissioning and needs
Designs questionnaires,samples and methodologies of collecting information
Co-operates the execution of projects, informs clients on progress and gives specific instructions to other departments regarding the collection and electronic processing of information
Presents results of study to the clients
Some travelling required

Mentors/coaches direct reports (provides insight/advice and ensures each has substantive development plans in place)
Ensures that all down line positions and critical retains have appropriate back-up contingency plans (minimum of 1 ready now candidate for all critical positions)
Key Skills/Competencies
University degree in Marketing, Economics or related field
Minimum 8 years experience in Marketing Research
Strong analytical mind
Very good knowledge on advanced analysis, methods, and tools
Excellent numerical skills
Good organisational skills, and strong people management skills
Very good interpersonal skills
Strong business acumen and financial knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in English
Computer Literate
Expertise in servicing customers and in-depth knowledge on CR methods, analysis and techniques
Good knowledge of the characteristics of the relevant markets
