Duties and Responsibilities:
This will be night work and will involve localized patching and overlay of the entire carriageway.Qualifications
Must have a minimum of a BEng, BSc or B Tech in Civil Engineering degree.
Must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist (PrEng or Pr Tech Eng)
Valid driver's license essential
Must be willing to travel, and medically fit to work on construction sites.Experience
Must have a minimum of 10+ years site experience on similar road rehabilitation projects as a Senior RE.
Experience with asphalt overlays is essential.Job Profile / Skills
Proficiency in civil engineering principles and practices.
Expertise in asphalt overlay techniques and materials.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project management.
Ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee construction activities.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
