Job Title: Senior Resident Engineer
Location: Phalaborwa, Limpopo, South Africa

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Phalaborwa, Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all engineering activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all engineering activities on-site, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of projects
• Supervise and lead a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to achieve project goals.
• Compile reports on the project (progress, quality reports etc.).
• Conduct risk assessment and ensure that measures to mitigate the identified risks are in place and implemented.
• Perform any other duties that may be required of you from time to time.

MINIMUN REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

• B. Eng / Bsc / B. Tech in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration as Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years relevant experience in engineering, construction or consulting environment.

Computer Literacy:

• MS Office Suite and Project Management systems (advantageous)
