LOCATION: KWAZULU-NATAL
DURATION: CONTRACT (12 MONTHS)
SALARY: MARKET RELATED"Our client specializing in EPCm & Infrastructure Projects is seeking a SENIOR RESIDENT ENGINEER - ROADS with a minimum of 15 years of experience to oversee and managing road construction projects based in KWAZULU-NATAL."JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for overseeing and managing road construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance, impart knowledge, and transfer skills to junior engineers and other team members.
• Assist in resolving contractual issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations and contractual obligations.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of road construction projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENT:

• B.Sc. or B.Eng. in civil engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Registered Engineer (ECSA)
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in road construction and project management.
• Proven experience in skill transfer and team development.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
