Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's client, a leading mining company based in Gauteng is currently seeking an experienced Senior Resource Geologist. As a Senior Resource Geologist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct resource evaluations, develop geological models, and provide technical support to the mining operations.Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, estimate, and manage mineral resources.
  • Conduct geological modeling and resource estimation.
  • Interpret geological data and create 3D models of ore bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards like the SAMREC code.
  • Oversee and manage data collection from drilling, sampling, and surveys.
  • Analyze and interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data.
  • Prepare and review technical reports on resource estimates.
  • Lead geological exploration projects, including planning and budgeting.
Requirements:
  • BSc Hons Degree in Geology
  • 5 years' experience (post-graduation) in resource geology
  • Strong proficiency in geological modeling software such as Datamine and Leapfrog
  • Geological Modelling and Geological Estimation experience
  • Registered with SACNASP
