A leading financial services company is looking for a skilled Senior RPG Developer to join their team. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver robust solutions aligned with business needs by designing, developing, and maintaining RPG applications. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in RPG development (RPG IV and ILE RPG).
- Strong experience with IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems.
- Knowledge of database integration and best practices in application development.
- Expertise in RPG programming (RPG IV, ILE RPG).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with version control systems and development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Design, develop, and maintain RPG applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and translate requirements.
- Test, debug, and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead RPG development projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Provide documentation and reports on application performance and project status.
