A leading financial services providers holding company is recruiting for an experienced Senior Developer to work in a hybrid role in Fourways.Senior Developer
Fourways, HybridQualifications:

• A recognized software development certification/degree/diploma.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years or more experience using relevant programming languages or technologies.
• Azure experience (advantageous).

KPAs:

• Develop, create, and adapt general computer applications software or specialized utility programs, tailored to meet user needs and enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct analysis to devise software solutions and design or customize software for client utilization, either independently or as part of a collaborative team effort.
• May oversee computer programmers.
• Revise existing software to rectify errors, accommodate new hardware, or enhance performance.
• Direct software system testing and validation procedures, as well as programming activities and documentation development.
• Engage with customers or various departments to discuss project progress, proposals, or technical issues related to software design or maintenance.
• Analyse data to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications to existing ones.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to assess hardware-software interfaces, establish specifications and performance criteria, and resolve customer concerns.
• Generate reports or correspondence detailing project specifications, activities, or status.
• Manage data storage, retrieval, and manipulation to assess system capabilities and requirements. Coordinate the installation of software systems and monitor equipment functionality to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Delegate tasks to programmers, designers, and other personnel as needed.
• Provide guidance to customers regarding software system maintenance and offer training on the use of new or modified equipment.
