Job SummaryJob Title: Senior RPG DeveloperLocation:Gauteng, Tshwane Metro, PretoriaJob Type:Permanent, expected to work full-time hoursPrimary Industry:AgricultureSecondary Industry:IT and InternetCompany Information:TWK Agri is an agricultural company with sectors in Forestry, Financial Services, Grain and Timber.Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain RPG applications for the agricultural sector
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions
  • Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure optimal performance
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve quality
Required Qualifications:
  • Related qualification in Computer Science or a related field
Education:Degree in Computer Science or equivalentExperience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in RPG developmentKnowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency in AS400 and SQL400
  • Experience with PHP, XML, and JSON
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in RPG programming
Working Conditions:This role is based in an office environment with standard working hours. Occasional travel may be required to different agricultural sites.TWK AgriRecruiter
