Job Description
:Our client is seeking a Senior Sales Representative to service Port Elizabeth and the surrounding Eastern Cape area,xc2xb7 Facilitating the movement of cultivars through the evaluation and development of a business strategy for each cultivar.xc2xb7 Expedite the movement of new cultivars through, quarantine & citrus improvement scheme for Disease Free certification.xc2xb7 Manage processes of evaluation to determine value potential.xc2xb7 Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives in the citrus cultivar market.xc2xb7 Identify new market opportunities and customer segments for the company's citrus products.xc2xb7 Create sales forecasts, budgets, and ensure sales targets are achieved.xc2xb7 Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer demand in the citrus market.xc2xb7 Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for growth.xc2xb7 Manage the process of IP protection of cultivars that show probable value.xc2xb7 Develop, implement and co-ordinate a sales management strategy for each cultivar.Requirementsxc2xb7 Grade 12xc2xb7 Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).xc2xb7 Minimum of 5-7 years in sales, with a preference for experience in the agriculture, horticulture, or citrus industry.xc2xb7 In-depth knowledge of citrus cultivation,xc2xb7 Ability to travel regularly,xc2xb7 Proficient in MS Officexc2xb7 Valid drivers license,
