To sell lighting solutions and products to architects, engineers, consultants, commercial, retail markets, and various other projects.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing in southern, Western, and Northern Cape Town, looking after key accounts.
Sales in any other areas where your expertise is required.
Expected to travel offshore to trade fairs to identify new product opportunities in Frankfort, Dusseldorf, Hong Kong, and China.
Development of retail clients and commercial clients.
Mentor and motivate the sales force.
Ensure your target is achieved monthly.
Sales and marketing for Cape Town.
Forecasting and budgeting.
Maintain and grow the customer base.
Daily input on the SFA (sales force automation) system.
A weekly report to the National Sales Manager detailing the quotes listing, call listing, and updated project listing and any problems that you may be experiencing.
Keep a listing of delivery dates promised to clients and follow up with production to ensure these dates are met. If not, contact the customer and advise them accordingly.
Advising the company of any information that is relevant to our industry.
Advising the company of any problems or potential problems that may occur.
Controlling of sample account.
Job Requirements:
Must have experience in the electrical industry, preference will be given to experience in the building/architectural/commercial or public lighting industry.
Must be able to develop good client relationships.
Must be presentable.
Must be self-disciplined.
Hard working.
Must have own motor vehicle in good working order.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Preference will be given to a younger person due to the distances needed to travel
