Job Description
A position has become available for a Senior Sample Set Machinist at our industrial bag manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
Assemble a bag from start to finish using information from a pattern or Sample Bag (green seal) sent from Design Centre Operate all sewing machines used to make a sample bag Find ways to make assembling of the bag/product production friendly
Requirements:
Able to operate a variety of sewing machines Must be able to read and write Must be able to interpret a pattern, sketch and information Must be able to sew all types of bags and materials Must have a good understanding of assembling and deconstructing a sewn product Must be able to solve problems Must have a great eye for detail and quality Must be punctual, driven and have great communication skills Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

An eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills Good communication skills To be a team player and be able to lead a small team of 3 people A strong ability to learn
