Strengthen Crisis Management: Oversee the continuous enhancement of a sustainable crisis management and business continuity program, ensuring its effectiveness through regular training and audits.
Advise Leadership: Maintain strong working relationships with BU leadership teams by providing expert consultation and support.
Conduct Risk Assessments: Plan and oversee security risk assessments and annual reviews at BU sites to pinpoint critical vulnerabilities and implement cost-effective, best-practice enhancements.
Mitigate New Venture Risks: Analyze security threats associated with new business initiatives and propose risk-based mitigation strategies.
Build External Relationships: Develop and maintain productive relationships with national and local security agencies, emergency response teams, law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and security directors from other multinational companies.
Manage CAPEX: Deliver a BU-aligned security capital expenditure plan that ensures effective and efficient security spending.
Promote Awareness: Develop and implement comprehensive security awareness and training programs.
Respond to Incidents: Provide timely advice and assistance before, during, and after security incidents including on-the-spot risk assessments and support for business travellers.
Secure the Supply Chain: Implement strategic measures to strengthen the protection of our supply chain.
Investigate Security Threats: Lead investigations into issues such as counterfeit products, extortion, product contamination, loss reduction, kidnapping, robberies, fraud, corruption, and other threats impacting the sectors interests and personnel.
Develop Talent: Ensure the continuous professional development of the sector security team, including identifying future leaders as part of long-term succession planning.
Support Executive Protection: As needed, assist the Corporate Security Executive Protection program by providing pre-travel logistical support and operational assistance to executive leadership when required.
Requirements
A minimum of a university-level Bachelors degree (or equivalent).
Working knowledge of the ISO 31000 Risk Management standard.
Working knowledge of the ISO 22301 Business Continuity standard.
A minimum of 10-15 years of direct security experience in the public and/or private sectors.
Comprehensive, substantive expertise of best security practices and principles.
Advanced, proven broad executive skills and experience in security management, risk management, protective services, investigations, and law enforcement.
Capital and operational budget formulation and administration.
Excellent working proficiency of written and spoken English
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
