Position: Snr Shift Lab AnalystLocation: MidrandHours: Day 07h00 - 16h00 | Night 19h00 - 07h30REF: MVG/SLAIntroduction:Pharma client is seeking a skilled Senior Laboratory Analyst to join their team. This role involves conducting analytical testing with precision and accuracy while ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will contribute to quality control, sample management, and laboratory operations, delivering high-quality analytical services.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical testing following Good Laboratory Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure accurate calibration of laboratory equipment and preparation of reagents.
- Maintain quality systems, documentation, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide analytical input into laboratory operations.
- Conduct method verification, validation, and transfer processes.
- Review analytical results and assist in writing and training on SOPs.
- Support laboratory efficiency by minimizing re-runs and optimizing workflows.
- Participate in safety protocols and operational planning.
- Diploma or Degree in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- At least 3 years' experience in method development, validation, verification, and transfer.
- Strong statistical knowledge and ability to apply statistical analysis in laboratory decision-making.
- Proficiency in laboratory software and technical result reviews.
