? We are on the lookout for a

Senior

Software Developer

to join our

Game Tech Portal

Integration team in Durban. The GTP integration team is responsible for incorporating software systems used by many different studios, into the Game Technology Portal. These software systems enable our studios to develop their games, and allow their games to interact with the various Games Global systems via a central interface.



As a

Senior Software Developer

, you will be the technical lead of GTP's integration team. You will lead a team of 4 on various integration projects and work closely with both technical and non-technical team members to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our business needs.




Responsibilities:

What will you do?

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using C# and the .NET framework. Work on both database and service level code that is core the business and critical to ensuring continuity of game delivery. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Lead the development team in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and process improvement. Set and enforce quality standards within the team. Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure the maintenance of code quality and organization. Engage in technical discussions and decision-making with internal stakeholders to enhance the product's performance, scalability, and reliability. Implement and maintain observability and telemetry solutions to ensure high system reliability and performance visibility. Utilize AI, RPS and Agentic workflows in improving the speed cadence and system efficiency of the team. Perform front end related tasks when needed.



Qualifications:

Who are we looking for?

A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in

C#

and

.Net

. Senior level experience is required. + providing technical leadership to junior and intermediate level developers
Well knowledgeable in system and architectural level Excellent Stakeholder Management and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in utilizing tools such as

AI, RPA or Agentic

workflow is required. Big plus if you are experienced with the following: +

Front end

development using

JavaScript

and/or

React

+

SQL

and/or

Redux

database
+

Grafana

Observability stack
