Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Software Engineer with 10 years experience in web-based software development: ASP.NET (IIS), JavaScript / Typescript, DB Administrator, MySQL.You will be based in our Clients Engineering Department at their Head Office in Upper Highway. The candidate must be a full-stack developer proficient with high-level backend languages, front-end web technologies and large-scale databases.POSITION INFO:
:

• Software development, enhancement and maintenance of:
• Web Applications
• Client Side (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Transcript, jQuery, Openlayers and other JavaScript APIs)
• Mobile web applications
• MySQL database management
• DB Administration
• After hours support on critical services, at Managements discretion
• Stand-alone C++ / C# / other applications and scripts
• Testing of newly developed software and product features
• Compiling documentation with any new developments
• Research into relevant subject areas to aid in developments and enhancements
• Other administrative duties added at management discretion
• Conduct satisfactory presentations as required by the company
• Continuous learning in relevant areas through available resources

Education:

• Matric with BSc (Computer Science) or equivalent

Requirements:

• 10 years experience with web-based software development: ASP.NET (IIS), JavaScript / Typescript, DB Administrator, MySQL
• Drivers Licence with own reliable transport
• Positive attitude with a passion for programming
