Understanding strategic goals and the supporting business architecture.
Obtaining and understanding of how our information and date assets will be leveraged.
Determine the application landscape and roadmap required.
Identify the in place and required technology components.
Opportunity identification (bottom-up) shall be facilitated through portfolio management activities such as Application Portfolio Management (APM) where Applications are analyzed, categorized,
Classified and managed through their lifecycle.
Departmental agility, resilience and enablement will be supported by having timeous and relevant information sets on which to act form the basis for a wide variety of decisions making.
Feasibility Reviews of new and existing solutions.
Develop Solution Designs and Implementation documentation.
Guide Continuous Solutioning Improvement.
Contribute to Solution Architecture Framework and Governance Development.
Guide Enterprise-wide Solution Alignment and Governance.

Requirements

NQF 6 or higher tertiary qualification, and,
Must have a valid (not expired) IT Architecture Certification. TOGAF (The Open
Group Architecture Framework) v9 or later certification is preferred but would not be detrimental to the bidder, should the resource not have a TOGAF certification,
Minimum of 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as an Enterprise Architect, and
Minimum of 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Solutions Architect.
