Your responsibilities will include menu planning, food preparation, supervision of kitchen staff, inventory management, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.   • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury lodge environment.
  • Culinary qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor junior kitchen staff.
  • Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative, high-quality dishes using locally sourced ingredients.
  • Knowledge of international cuisines, including game meats and traditional South African dishes, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations.
