Job Description

An Elegant Luxury Lodge is looking for a HEAD CHEF or SENIOR SOUS CHEF to join their TeamPOSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• Provide strong leadership to the kitchen team
• Strong stock control and management skill set
• Monthly stock takes
• Place orders and check stock when it comes in - reporting any missing or damaged stock
• Familiarity with local suppliers is beneficial but not a requirement
• Have knowledge of guest dietary requirements, including vegan & kosher requirements
• Design and plan seasonal menus
• Be creative and knowledgeable regarding current food trends
• Ensure good hygiene practices are maintained in the kitchen
• Have good staff management skills, including being able to create staff rosters and handle

matters * Be good with general adminCandidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Senior Sous or Head Chef role
• Drivers license
• Computer literate
• Experience working on PANstrat is an advantage
