Job Description


Omnia is seeking a Senior Specialist (Brand & Events) to lead and scale our events proposition while managing the overall brand and event management initiatives. This role focuses on client experience and trade marketing, encompassing all virtual and in-person engagements, including staff, trade shows, and other client interactions throughout the year. The ideal
candidate will have experience owning the group event portfolio, leading brand and event efforts, and developing strategies and execution plans for B2B events. This position is crucial in ensuring consistent, innovative brand communications aligned with Omnia's goals and values, working closely with stakeholders to create a cohesive brand experience that enhances
engagement and strengthens the Omnia brand.
Qualifications

  • An NQF Level 8 qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies or similar.
Experience
  • 5 years experience in a similar role.
Duties
  • Establishing & deploying creative brand event activations that drive traffic and brand
awareness. Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Group events from
start to finish, ensuring they meet business objectives and are delivered on time and
within budget. * Work cross functionally with the internal marketing team to create exceptional staffexperiences and activations * Create new strategies to increase brand awareness and event experiences includingspeaking opportunities, exhibitions, experiential events, and more * Understand event content production. Participate in all aspects of pre-production, andpost from scheduling speakers to pre-roll videos on all events and projects * Establish brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all touchpoints, includingdigital and print. * Work closely with marketing, and sales teams to support and ensure brand alignmentacross all initiatives and channels. * Manage relationships with external vendors, including event planners, designers, andproduction companies, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality deliverables. * Create and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectivesolutions without compromising quality. * Collaborate with the marketing BU heads to develop promotional strategies andmaterials for events, including digital marketing, social media, and PR campaigns. * Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the effectiveness and ROI of each event, usingfeedback and data to improve future initiatives. * Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization, including marketing, salesand executive teams, to ensure brand and event strategies are aligned with overall
brand positioning and business objectives. * Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with media, influencers, and other externalstakeholders to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Ensure that PR initiatives reflect
and aligns with Omnias purpose. This includes defining the positioning and messaging
in line with the brand. * Support the business unit marketing heads to ensure brand alignment across allinitiatives and channels. * Work with sales and marketing teams within our BUs to help create an end to endmarketing events strategy for our field sales team which includes agent enablement,
physical gifting, collateral, and territory specific marketing initiatives
