Specific Role Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Brand Management:
Assist with implementation and coordination of the Retail division marketing strategy in all respects.
Control, coordinate, and manage the brand and CI elements, including implementation.
Internal communication of marketing activities.
Timeous follow-up with the agency on briefs and timelines.
General assistance in the marketing environment from admin to implementation and the provision of sales fulfillment material.
Extract intelligence from competitor analyses that include technical, sales, promotional, brand ATL, and pricing activity to better understand and identify the opportunities that exist for the Motus Retail brand in its various business offerings. These will be done in conjunction with the internal marketing team, advertising, and media agencies.
Develop and execute flawlessly, an integrated marketing program of activities including ATL communication, that will cement and define the Motus brand position in the marketplace.
In conjunction with the Senior Manager: Marketing and the broader team, develop an annual brand plan and activity calendar with clear objectives, strategies, and a predictable sequence of executional activities, to enable timeous preparation, excellent execution as well as allow for mid-course corrections where necessary.
Administration:
Overseeing the existing general administrative functions within the department:
Administration and prudent management of marketing budget.
+ Control of quotes, purchase orders, invoices, cheque requisitions, petty cash. Follow-up on payment, where required. Manage overall email and telephonic requests for marketing and delegate to the correct people.
Research new marketing trends and opportunities to introduce new marketing tools/initiatives.
Build relationships with key suppliers, internal customers, and partners.
Coordination of ad hoc requests.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3 years of marketing, advertising or relevant industry experience.
Experience in project planning and management.
Experience in marketing disciplines (PR, sponsorship, ATL, BTL, TTL, online, social media).
Strong background in terms of web/online/search marketing as well as the management of brand within the context of social media.
Minimum Qualification:
A recognized tertiary Marketing qualification.
Minimum Requirements:
Unendorsed valid South African driver's license.
Computer literate, MS Office - the expert level needed on PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Knowledge of the marketing industry as a whole.
Knowledge of printing, file types, colors, paper, materials (vinyl/ perspex), dies fabrications, lighting, and distribution.
Knowledge of content production for digital marketing.
