Accept ClosePress Tab to Move to Skip to Content LinkSearch by KeywordSearch by LocationSearch by KeywordSearch by LocationLoading...Team:LocationType:Grade:Create Alertxc3x97Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:StartPlease wait...Senior Specialist Store Relations & Experience - EMPurpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:This role is responsible for maximizing the efficiency of the EM Field and Back Office by executing the Store relations, communication and Experience strategy to promote and convey information from all BO functions (Retail Operations, Sales Academy, Membership, NPS, Merchandise, Marketing and Finance) to stores via Thinktime, Viva Engage and other tools of communication as well as be the gateway and voice of our retail employees to educate, inform and celebrate with Retail back office and Global in reverse.The incumbent will support in enabling improved communications between and within the Retail department and global functions within the adidas Group. Responsible for evolving and maintaining a Retail Events Calendar which requires coordination, planning, organization, and execution of function-specific and cross-functional, aligned events to strengthen the new omni-channel structure within the EM business.They will also support the drive for Experience across EM through NPS & Membership and support in maximizing our Employee Experience through Yammer (Viva engage)Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and regularly maintain store communications tools & send out reporting where needed.
  • Maintain and manage communication guidelines for available tools.
  • Support cross-functional project teams and support teams in working with and according to our communication tools and guidelines.
  • Assist in the creation of the communication plans for projects (working together with project teams, global teams and 3rd parties) to be launched in the stores as in pilot launches, rollout plans, and other critical information required for the interaction with the stores.
  • Collaborate in areas of the business with cluster teams across the relevant functions including: NPS, Membership, Viva Engage, Employee Engagement, Thinktime, Game Changers, Contests, Incentives & Events, Sustainability, consumables, Newsletters etc.
  • Ensure proper process, information & creation on a regular basis the Retail EM newsletter to management, Retail Directors, District Managers, and stores.
  • Lead or support with ad hoc and ongoing communication initiatives.
  • Update & maintenance of the in-store comms board/back-office store screens with all Retail excellence activities and guidance for all retail employees.
  • Support in preparation and execution of Retail events, including Management Summits and Retail trainings, workshops.
  • Initiate Global contests/incentives and support execution and maintenance of the EM contest framework.
  • Support when needed in the production of presentations as it relates to events & communication (e.g. PowerPoint slides).
  • Interact with other communication professionals throughout the adidas Group.
  • Collaborate in creating a culture of sharing and adopting global best practices across all markets and how to encourage best practice sharing.
  • Ensure that Retail EM Calendar is followed and provide ideas, solutions to increase the effectiveness and usage of retail calendar to serve business needs and purposes.
  • Support in sending out weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting of the various tools for our District Managers (Checklist & Task completion, NPS feedback etc)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level of confidence
  • Good coordination and planning skills

  • Hands-on and one team attitude
  • Advanced user of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of Thinktime or a similar internal retail communication platform is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Canva design tool or similar will be an advantage
  • Fluent in English
  • Additional languages are an advantage.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in retail management, store operations, or a related field.
  • Additional relevant coursework or certifications in Retail Management, Communication, Business Administration, Design or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Internal communication experience is an advantage.
  • Project implementation experience is an advantage.
