Our client in the Western Cape is seeking a Senior Store Manager to oversee operations across multiple locations in the Western Cape. This dynamic role requires an energetic and extroverted leader who can train, motivate, and manage teams while ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. The successful candidate will report directly to senior management and play a key role in maintaining operational excellence and customer service standards. This is a multi-store role.Description

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations across multiple locations.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise staff to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Conduct customer service training to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor store performance, report on areas of concern, and implement solutions.
  • Manage inventory, control costs, and ensure financial efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost revenue and market presence.
  • Address operational challenges, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a senior restaurant management role, with experience in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Transport: Must have own reliable transport.
  • Legal Work Status: Must be South African or have a valid work visa.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and coach staff.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of financial management, inventory control, and restaurant operations.
  • Computer literacy, including experience with POS and restaurant management software.
  • A hospitality-related qualification is advantageous.
  • Food safety and first aid certifications are beneficial.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
Job Details:
  • Work Schedule: 6 days per week. Leave accumulates at 1.5 days per month as per the Labour Relations Act.
  • Salary: Market-related and based on experience and first impression during the interview.
  • Meals: 1 meal per shift worked.
  • Start Date: ASAP xe2x80x93 Permanent contract with a 3-month probation period (includes a clause covering recruitment costs on a prorated basis if the candidate leaves within 12 months).
  • Fuel Allowance: Included as part of the CTC.
