Main job functionThe primary responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to;Receiving of components from suppliersIssue components to workshop and team leadersData-capturing on Job-SysQualificationsGrade 12 or Equivalent NQF levelValid Drivers licenceMust be computer literateBasic experience with Microsoft office (Outlook, Word & Excel)Knowledge of electrical components will be to your advantagePervious storeroom experience will be to your advantageCriteriaCheck delivery and process of goods receive against delivery note, purchase order and unloadWrap/pack goods, Deliver to courier when required.Ensure that all stock is labelled and placed in the correct category.Carry out random stock check/validation on individual items as well as assisting with major stock takes/checks.Local deliveries and collections as and when required.Prepare equipment, stock for forthcoming jobs.Issue components to workshop, team leaders or jobCheck-In and Prepare Equipment for Maintenance and RepairEnsure that the storeroom is kept clean and tidy and complies with health and safety legislation.Use of forklift for loading/unloading of goods/equipment (Training will be provided)Ensure that tools/equipment are kept in good repair i.e. forklift/ small hand tools, drill, winch etc.Compiling of re-order lists of consumablesData-capturing on Job-SysAssist with driving duties and maintenance of vehiclesA Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
