Job Description
A well-established mining company in the Northern Cape is seeking a Senior Surveyor to join their team. As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing all survey activities in the mining operation. This includes measuring, calculating, and reporting monthly volumes and tonnages, ensuring compliance with survey procedures, and providing accurate survey data.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all survey activities in the mining operation
- Measuring, calculating, and reporting monthly volumes and tonnages
- Ensuring compliance with survey procedures
- Providing accurate survey data
- Managing a team of surveyors and technicians
- Grade 12
- Advanced Mine Surveying Certificate
- Advanced Mine Valuation Certificate
- National Diploma Mine/Minerals Surveying
- Minimum 4 years' Mine Surveying experience in an underground mining environment
- At least 1 year supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Salary: negotiable
