Each day, you will contribute to the development of consultancy products and services. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the creation of consulting business strategy. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries in Longmeadow You will be mainly accountable for: Takes a lead role to propose consulting services and solutions to meet the customer's needs. Leads or supports the development of a special technology or area of best practice. Actively participates in customer discussions; preparing technical proposals; techno-commercial negotiations; co-creation workshops with customers; technical guidance for the customer etc. Makes contacts at senior level (e.g., Site Manager, Technical Director). Negotiates contracts to win consulting assignments of 250 to 1500 hours. Develops relationships and actively maintains a technical knowledge exchange with key technical contacts. Ensures consistency in documenting knowledge/lessons learned and shares across the unit/team. Coaches and develops consultants to deliver assignments and provides technical guidance to colleagues. Identifies learning competency gaps in the consulting team and addresses the gap through active (technical) people development. Applies standard processes and tools applicable to their own area of responsibility. Creates work plans and cost estimates in their own area of responsibility. Ensures quality and timely implementation within targeted cost. Supports the development of new tools and processes for effectiveness. Reports inefficiencies in processes and tools. Conducts risk and opportunity assessments for consulting assignments. Proposes and initiates actions to mitigate and control risks in ones area of responsibility. Identifies opportunities for repeat and new consulting business. Contract management Forms and leads teams to deliver assignments with a focus on operational execution. Oversees and delivers consulting assignments. Works with contract management activities (invoicing and work in progress, etc.) in their own area of work.
