About Our ClientOur client is a global leader in chemical manufacturing, is seeking a highly skilled and Mandarin-speaking Senior Technical Sales Account Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and will be responsible for driving sales and technical support in the Sub-Saharan Africa region, with a focus on South Africa, Zambia, and Congo.The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
Requirements: Fluent in Mandarin, commercial acumen, sales experience, technical background (preferably in chemistry or engineering), mining industry experience is advantageous.
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the region.
Drive sales growth through effective account management and business development strategies.
Provide technical support and expertise to customers, addressing their needs and inquiries.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
Identify new business opportunities and markets for company products.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Must reside in Gauteng.
The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will have the following profile:
University degree required - preferably in Chemistry, Metallurgy or Chemical/Mining Engineering
3 years - direct experience in the mineral processing industry, including commercial or business development experience at multiple sites/operations - experience in business interactions with mine operators. SAP, PMM, Salesforce, MS Office etc. * No "postman" style
