Our client has been in the property development, investment, and management business for over 40 years. Originally established as an in-house property management initiative to support the commercial development and investment of the group, they have now become experts in safeguarding the Group's real estate assets using a proactive approach and sound property expertise.

With capacity in their busy Johannesburg based team, they are currently seeking a commercially minded, analytical and tech-savvy Utilities Manager to join the business.

Your ultimate goal will be to develop and implement a reporting framework, in which to measure, identify ,address and resolve issues which could facilitate cost-savings on rates and taxes, electricity, water, sewerage, refuse removal and other utilities. This position would suit someone who has a high level of attention to detail and a strong financial skill with the ability to understand the intricacies, technicalities, and complexities of municipal and public service billings. In addition, your leadership qualities would require you to influence stakeholders, develop inter-departmental cohesion and unity to ensure further efficiencies.

This role will see you working closely with the Finance and Maintenance teams to ensure the most relevant, up to date, and cost-effective initiatives are implemented, ranging from best suited, smart metering systems or applications to solar or grey water projects.
