Overview:

We're on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven professional to step into the shoes of our Senior Vice President of Banking. This role is a linchpin, steering our banking product towards profitability, sustainable growth, and customer satisfaction. As the singular leader driving our banking product, you'll be at the forefront of revenue generation, customer expansion, and ensuring top-notch retention rates.

Responsibilities (include but is not limited to):

Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide visionary leadership, setting strategic objectives and goals for the banking product.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management, aligning banking strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the banking team.
Profit and Loss Ownership:
  • Take charge of the profit and loss dynamics of the banking product and take ultimate ownership of the success of the business line.
  • Develop and execute strategies to boost revenue and manage unit economics for effective growth.
  • Dive into financial performance analysis, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions for heightened profitability.
Monetization Strategy:
  • Craft and execute robust monetization strategies for the banking product.
  • Innovate new revenue streams to drive financial success.
  • Collaborate across teams to implement pricing models and positioning strategies.
  • Work together with lending team to increase credit adoption for banked customers
Customer Growth:
  • Lead initiatives for new customer acquisition, expanding our customer base.
  • Drive product adoption across our existing base of lending customers
  • Collaborate seamlessly with marketing and sales teams for effective customer growth campaigns.
  • Crunch the numbers on market trends and customer behavior, identifying growth opportunities.
Retention Excellence:
  • Develop and implement strategies ensuring high customer retention rates.
  • Proactively address customer concerns, turning feedback into enhanced satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with customer support and success teams for an overall positive customer experience.
Commercial Product Development:
  • Team up with product development to elevate the commercial banking product.
  • Identify market needs and trends, shaping product development and innovation.
  • Ensure the product aligns seamlessly with market demands and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership in the banking or financial industry.
  • Deep understanding of banking products, financial markets, and regulatory environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth and achieving profit and loss objectives.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
