Key Responsibilities:
On-Page SEO Optimization:
Perform keyword research and implement strategic content optimization based on SEO analysis.
Ensure proper implementation of on-page SEO elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, URL structure, and internal linking.
Optimize website images, speed, and other technical aspects to improve overall site performance.
Off-Page SEO:
Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and page rankings.
Identify and leverage opportunities for guest posts, partnerships, and backlinks to relevant and high-authority websites.
Technical SEO:
Conduct regular technical SEO audits, identify issues, and recommend solutions to improve crawlability and indexability.
Fix issues related to 404 errors, broken links, redirects, sitemaps, etc.
Manage and configure SEO tools like Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and other related software to monitor website performance.
Content Strategy & Optimization:
Collaborate with content creators to ensure all content is optimized for SEO, aligning with keyword strategies and user intent.
Provide recommendations for blog posts, landing pages, and other content types to drive organic traffic and engagement.
Website Analytics & Reporting:
Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other tools to monitor website performance and traffic trends.
Provide regular performance reports, offering insights into key SEO metrics like organic traffic, rankings, click-through rates (CTR), bounce rates, and conversions.
WordPress Site Management:
Update and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring all themes, plugins, and core software are up-to-date.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress themes, plugins, and integrations.
Implement SEO plugins like Yoast SEO, Rank Math, etc., for better on-page optimization.
Stay Updated on SEO Trends:
Keep up with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure the website is always optimized for search engines.
Collaboration:
Work with the marketing, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented throughout the website and marketing campaigns.
Provide guidance and training to junior team members or others on SEO-related tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in SEO, with a specific focus on WordPress websites.
In-depth knowledge of WordPress platform, including theme and plugin management.
Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.).
Solid understanding of on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
Experience with content optimization, keyword research, and technical SEO audits.
Strong understanding of website performance tools like GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed Insights, etc.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics as they relate to SEO.
Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin development (PHP, HTML, CSS).
Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization.
Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.) and SEO for e-commerce sites.
Certifications in SEO or digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot).
