Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Server/Network Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's server and network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of networking protocols, server administration, and network security.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, install, configure, and maintain server and network infrastructure. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues. Ensure the security of network systems through best practices and regular updates. Manage and maintain server hardware, software, and operating systems. Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. Perform regular system updates, backups, and disaster recovery tests. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff. Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve network-related issues. Document network configurations, procedures, and changes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Server/Network Engineer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs. Experience with server administration, including Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies. Proficiency in network security practices and tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
The interview process consists of 2 phases:

- Introductory Interview

- Final Interview and possible placement

This position does not offer remote working solutions and all candidates are expected to perform their duties from the premises specified .

The position is offered with a 3 month probation period from the start date of employment specified (should the candidate successfully be recruited by our Company).
