Job Description
Service Advisor Automotive IndustryAre you a customer-focused Service Advisor with a passion for the automotive industry? We are seeking a professional to join our workshop team!Key Responsibilities:Greet customers and assist with their service-related inquiries.
Open and manage Estimates and Job cards for all work.
Ensure estimates are sent to clients promptly and confirm go-ahead within 1 hour of booking or truck arrival.
Work closely with mechanics, foremen, and technical advisors to provide solutions and alternatives for repairs.
Promote and upsell vehicle service campaigns.
Confirm vehicle warranty, service plan, or maintenance plan status, and handle billing accordingly.
Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely parts availability.
Keep clients updated every 4 hours on the status of their vehicle.
Prepare and cost job cards to be invoiced before the vehicle is released.
Explain all work completed to clients and ensure satisfaction.
Oversee workshop efficiency and workflow, keeping operations smooth.Minimum Requirements:Matric certificate (Essential)
Relevant training or qualifications as a Service Advisor or in a similar role
1-2 years of experience in a similar position
Strong knowledge of automotive technology
Proficient in MS Excel, Evolve, and related software
Ability to manage 20-25 job cards daily
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Code 8 drivers license (Essential)
