Job Description
Service Advisor Automotive IndustryAre you a customer-focused Service Advisor with a passion for the automotive industry? We are seeking a professional to join our workshop team!Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with their service-related inquiries.
- Open and manage Estimates and Job cards for all work.
- Ensure estimates are sent to clients promptly and confirm go-ahead within 1 hour of booking or truck arrival.
- Work closely with mechanics, foremen, and technical advisors to provide solutions and alternatives for repairs.
- Promote and upsell vehicle service campaigns.
- Confirm vehicle warranty, service plan, or maintenance plan status, and handle billing accordingly.
- Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely parts availability.
- Keep clients updated every 4 hours on the status of their vehicle.
- Prepare and cost job cards to be invoiced before the vehicle is released.
- Explain all work completed to clients and ensure satisfaction.
- Oversee workshop efficiency and workflow, keeping operations smooth.
- Matric certificate (Essential)
- Relevant training or qualifications as a Service Advisor or in a similar role
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of automotive technology
- Proficient in MS Excel, Evolve, and related software
- Ability to manage 20-25 job cards daily
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Code 8 drivers license (Essential)
